“We are delighted to receive these free devices via our partnership with Millennium Community Solutions CIC.
We work with a range of members who have various disabilities: from physical and mental health to chronic, long-term illnesses, sight and hearing loss. We have been able to target our most vulnerable and isolated members to ensure they have a means of connection.
In some circumstance our clients rely solely on their landline, or have been in ownership of a smart phone that is out of date, broken or unusable. Supplying our service users with devices gives them the opportunity to access a host of new support services accessible online. These devices have aided us in enabling people to join communal exercise classes, attend coffee mornings and reconnect with friends and family.
We believe this scheme has massively assisted in motivating and keeping our members positive in what has been a testing time period and we continue to offer tech setup support and ongoing opportunities to the devices”
